What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation method that uses ultra-thin needles to stimulate controlled healing and collagen production. The procedure is chemical-free, involves minimal downtime, and can be used to correct a wide variety of cosmetic issues.
At Inspira Dermatology, we are equipped with various microneedling devices that cater to particular needs such as treatment for acne, scars, non-surgical eye bag reduction, non-surgical double chin treatment, skin tightening, pore size reduction, and improvements in skin texture and skin tone.
These devices are effective enough to dramatically improve the appearance of the skin, while still being gentle enough for safe use on all skin types. Over time, this healing response translates into more evenly toned, tight, youthful-looking skin. Full recovery from each session usually takes 3-4 days. While some areas can be corrected in as little as one treatment, areas that are larger or have more severe damage may require several sessions before improvements become apparent.

Non-Energy Based Microneedling
Exceed microneedling is the first FDA-cleared medical microneedling device. With minimal downtime, Exceed microneedling treatment delivers versatile results including skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, and improvements in pore size and skin texture, including acne scars.
The patented six-needle tilting plate adapts perfectly to the skin’s surface and safely facilitates access to difficult areas for powerful, precise skin punctuation that delivers desired results in safety and beauty. The unique engineering of superior speed and precision surpass of this machine provides a forceful, yet gentle entry that helps increase penetration to target treatment areas and optimize results. The needles perforate the skin for only an instant, as the epidermis in between the puncture remains unharmed.
Energy-Based Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling
Agnes RF Microneedling
Agnes is a fine tuning RF microneedling procedure via target specific microneedle. The treatment provides wider applications that are used to treat acne, syringomas, enhance skin tightening, eliminate unwanted fat pads such as treating puffy eye bags and double chin. Agnes stands out from other microneedling procedures in that treatment can be customized according to each patient’s specific needs due to the different types of the needles that deliver the best results.
Intracel RF Microneedling
What is Intracel and how does it work?
Intracel is a RF microneedling procedure that is primarily used for skin tightening and acne scars. This treatment focuses on a specific targeted area where microneedles penetrate deep into the dermis, where the layer of collagen bundles are located. In addition, Intracel delivers heat energy into the different layers of the skin, allowing for firmer skin and smaller pores. Intracel works by creating a trauma to the skin that helps with the production of collagen and the reduction of oil and bacteria when the skin naturally starts to heal itself. Furthermore, the energy delivered through the tip of each microneedle helps loosen the scar tissues resulting from resolved acne. Employing 49 insulated microneedles, IntraceI is effective in treating fine lines, wrinkles, acne, laxity, stretch marks, scars and stimulating collagen.

Intracel RF Multi Layer Therapy Redefines Fractional RF Microneedling
Intracel Multi Layer Therapy reaches all skin layers from the most superficial to the deeper ones, thus, ensuring effective treatments with minimal patient discomfort.
When will I see the result?
Improvements are typically noticeable 6-8 weeks after treatment. However, the number of treatments and results vary depending on your skin condition. Your physician will advise on what to expect.
What is the downtime?
Intracel microneedle design maximizes fractional RF energy delivery to the desired target while minimizing downtime and discomfort. This patented technology coupled with a unique needle insertion system assures minimal downtime and quick recovery.
Is fractional RF Microneedling safe on ALL skin types?
The insertion of insulated microneedles at precise and controllable depths ensure that the treatment is safe on all skin types and tones and furthermore greatly reduces the risk of hyperpigmentation.
Does the treatment hurt?
While overall tolerance varies depending on type of treatment and person, fractional RF microneedle treatment is generally well accepted. To further ensure comfort and safety, IntraceI employs a proprietary insertion mechanism and patented insulated microneedles optimized to deliver energy to target while minimizing discomfort. Topical numbing cream can offer additional relief if needed.
How many treatments do I need?
While some results may be visible after one treatment, typically three treatments are needed to show significant results. Your physician will discuss the optimal number of treatments needed based on your skin condition and goals.
