Seborrheic Keratosis (SK)

Seborrheic keratosis is a benign skin growth commonly seen among people over 40 years of age.  Irreverently, SK also called barnacles, which they come in different colors such as brown, black or skin colored growth on the face, chest, shoulders and back. The growths on the skin are usually multiple, with a waxy, scaly, slightly elevated or warty and “stuck on” appearance. When the SK is big enough to rub against clothing, it can be irritated and bleed.
